“The Hill Climb is a fun and challenging uphill course and features a mix of rural and forest scenery along a paved road,” says Hawk Mountain Director of Communication Mary Linkevich.

Shuttle service is provided from the Hawk Mountain parking lot to the starting line, where the course begins in the scenic Kempton Valley and climbs to the top of Hawk Mountain following Hawk Mountain Road. Participants finish at the Visitor Center, and awards are presented at 11 am to the Overall Male and Female, as well as to the top three male and female finishers in each age category. A live raptor program will also be presented at noon.

Celebrating 80 years in raptor conservation, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is the world's first refuge for birds of prey and an international center for raptor conservation. The 2,500-acre Sanctuary, 8-mile trail system and Visitor Center is open to the public year-round.
