Explore Local Talent During the Hawk Mountain Arts Tour on June 6
Posted on May 07, 2026 in Visitors
All roads lead to local artists during the Hawk Mountain Arts Tour on Saturday, June 6 from 9 am to 5 pm. The tour includes more than 45 artists and businesses stationed throughout the Kempton valley plus a satellite location hosted by the Hamburg Area Arts Alliance at State Street Square, making this the largest tour yet.
Stops include local businesses and studios hosting artists who will display a variety of crafts, such as pottery, photography, wood and metal sculptures, and fine art paintings. The free driving tour takes place within a 25-mile radius of scenic Albany Township, and a map of the stops can be found online at hawkmountain.org/artstour. The stops are numbered, but the tour is self-guided. It is recommended that participants choose the artists that interest them the most and visit those first. Printed maps will also be available to pick up at the Sanctuary's Visitor Center, which is the first stop on the tour.
“The Hawk Mountain Arts Tour is a wonderful way to spend a spring day exploring the scenic countryside while supporting local artists and small businesses,” says Gigi Romano, Hawk Mountain Communications Specialist, who helps organize the annual event. “Each stop offers something unique, and visitors will even have the chance to see some artists demonstrating their work throughout the day.”
In addition to the displays, visitors will be able to purchase art pieces and handmade products at most stops. Multiple host locations will be open for business or provide refreshments and locally sourced treats. This unique event exposes participants to the vibrant local culture and talent of Berks County and allows for a day of exploration and art appreciation.
