Hawk Mountain Receives Get Outdoors PA Grant

In April, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary was awarded the Get Outdoors PA Mini-Grant for the "Navigating the Forest and Stream" Program. This mini-grant is funded through the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society, Inc. Community Conservation Partnership Program Grant provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

This grant will be used to fund new equipment for this summers extensive schedule of Summer Nature Camp activities and excursions. Hawk Mountain's Summer Nature Camp takes place over eight weeks, Monday through Friday, June 21 through August 13. Each week has two sessions: one for students entering grades 1st-3rd and those entering grades 4th-6th. Click here for more information and registration links.
