Dark Morph Tiger Swallowtail

This dark morph Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) was spotted floating around our Native Plant Garden. Although very dark in this photo, it did have a slight yellow tint from some angles!

Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis), also known as a touch-me-not, is blooming in our Native Plant Garden. The juice of the leaves and stems can be used as a remedy for skin rashes such as poison-ivy, which it can often grow next to!
