Eastern North America is blessed with some remarkable forests that survived in spite of 400 years of logging, plowing, pollution, and invasive pests. As human populations grow, so too does the pressure on our remaining forested lands. In this talk, Bill Cullina will look at what makes our eastern forests special and what we can do in our own backyards and communities to restore diversity of our woodlands.

About the Speaker:
Bill is the Executive Director of the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and former Nursery Director and Head Propagator for the New England Wildflower Society,
