FREE Self-guided driving tour, held every year on the first Saturday in June.
Pick your own route, set your own pace, and enjoy a wide variety of art by talented artists displaying their work in their home studios or host locations. The self-guided driving tour winds about a 25-mile radius all within scenic Albany Township, this year with a satellite location hosted by the Hamburg Area Arts Alliance at Etchberger Memorial Park in Hamburg.

Hope Hill Lavender Farm established 2011 offers shopping for quality lavender products created on our farm located 15 miles from Hawk Mt. We have lavender soaps, lotions, candles, sachets, and culinary items.
Owner Wendy Jochems will live demonstrate sachet and alpaca dryer ball creation.

Elaine creates nature-themed art in pastels and acrylics, featuring butterflies, flowers, and other wildlife. She also repurposes and paints lighted bottles to benefit Hawk Mountain's Farmland Raptor Project.
Rose Fritch, Hawk Mountain Metals

Rose creates hand-fabricated jewelry made with a mixture of metals and semiprecious stones. Each piece is individually crafted, giving every design a one-of-a-kind feel.
Rose will be demonstrating her work.

Homegrown wool goods for sale from Lillian's Flock, a small family sheep farm. Lelayna will be doing spinning wheel demos throughout the day.
Amber Reddinger, Seven Winds Homestead

Amber is a small-scale homesteader and maker of many small-batch, artisan home and bath items, including cold process soaps, hand-dipped and hand-poured candles, salves and balms, aprons, small dolls, and much more. She uses only natural ingredients and sources as much as she can locally, in addition to growing many of her own botanicals.

He brings his inspirations from sketchpad to canvas with passion and energy for the sheer love of nature and the satisfaction of sharing his talents with others. David works with pencil sketches, acrylic paints, watercolor, oils, and more recently – coffee!

Jeff Keiffer

Jeff has been carving wooden decoys for almost 30 years, and most of his decoys are considered “Contemporary Antique." Using the same tools as the great carvers of the past, he tries to make each decoy look like it was used 100 years ago. He has competed in the “antique style" category at major decoy contests, and his greatest carving accomplishment was placing second best of show at the Ward Foundation World Championship competition. He has received over ten Best of Show ribbons from competitions along the east coast.

Members of the Bond Family will host a special exhibit featuring art created by Jon Bond, Julie Bond Kloehn, Samuel Bond, and Casey Weaknecht Bond. Original works include landscapes, portraiture, and fiber art. More than 150 pieces will be on display, including many gift items.

Gene is a painter of fine art landscapes, mostly of the local area around his barn studio. Capturing the disappearing farmland and wooded landscape is his primary focus, as well as the old buildings on this land.

Kahn’s interest in sculpture led to his experimentation with different mediums including wood, metal, glass and electronics. After years of this experimentation, he created large kinetic outdoor pieces of sculpture that moved naturally, free from wires, lights and technology. HIs current collection includes up to 35-foot high outdoor pieces composed of stainless steel, aluminum and titanium.
Jeff's workshop will be open with all of his tools on display for questions or demonstrations.

Visit the members of the HAMBURG AREA ARTS ALLIANCE at the Hawk Mountain Arts Tour Area located at Etchberger Memorial Park, 2nd & Island Streets. The artists will present a variety of media, including woodworking, handcrafted clay sculptures, pastel portraits, fine art, fabric crafts, fiber art, and more!

After visiting Hamburg Area Arts Alliance members at the Park, be sure to travel a few short blocks to the Art & Craft Gallery of Hamburg located at 320 State Street in downtown Hamburg. There you will find handmade creations and artwork from over 30 local artists – all for sale at affordable prices. The Gallery is open 10 am - 5 pm the day of the event.
In addition to these three artists, Schuylkill River Greenways NHA, will be setting up an informational table to promote the trails along Etchberger Park and surrounding areas.
