Hunter Marton first joined Hawk Mountain as a Seasonal Steward in 2024. He quickly proved to be a key member of Hawk Mountain's land management team, continuing his work with them for another two consecutive seasons before coming on full-time in 2026. 

In his youth, he became fascinated with the local ecosystems and the flora and fauna found in them, seeking to learn as much as possible through observation. What followed was a deep appreciation for native plant gardening and land restoration. Through his time at Hawk Mountain, he has furthered his knowledge of native ecosystems and best management practices. 

When Hunter is away from the Mountain, he can be found reading or playing music with friends.
