Designed for aspiring conservation professionals and landowners, the program shares proven techniques for actively managing landscapes to protect biodiversity.
This course is part of Hawk Mountain's Professional Land Stewardship Series, which offers hands-on training in essential land management skills, drawing on Hawk Mountain Sanctuary’s decades of real-world conservation experience. Designed for aspiring conservation professionals and landowners alike, each course can be taken individually or as a complete skill-building series.

Packed lunch is necessary and will occur in group format to continue curriculum/conservation discussions. PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves) will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own. Long pants, long sleeved shirts, boots, hard-hats, safety glasses, and gloves are necessary. Courses are limited to 10 students and require a minimum of 5 students to hold each course.
