Homeschooled students are invited to join us on the Mountain monthly for experiential learning! Topics will focus on phenology of the Appalachian forest ecosystem. Programs are designed for K-12 students and are filled with hands-on learning activities both inside and outdoors.
Bald sure is beautiful! Celebrate nature’s garbage disposals and the super recyclers of the raptor world with us this month. Investigate why the most important birds in our ecosystem are declining and how we can conserve their global status. Through an interactive pirate adventure, we will discover why we truly treasure these raptors.
