Join us for an exciting day of learning all about songbird migration! In this collaboration between DaVinci Science Center and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, you will get an up-close look at the research techniques used to study migratory songbirds. Spend your morning learning about songbird banding, participating in bird walks through the meadows and forest, trying your hand at a method which scientists use to safely catch birds (with fake bird toys), and learning about the science of migration through the Appalachian Mountains!
