Join Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary (HMS) educators for an in-depth, educational experience with Pennsylvania birds of prey. You will receive your own copy of the award-winning Project WILD K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide as well as lessons & activities to integrate raptor lessons into your teaching. You'll learn about raptor biology, adaptations, research and monitoring practices, and have time outside to practice ID skills.

This workshop is suitable for both formal and non-formal educators and is targeted towards grade levels 3rd-12th. 

Be sure to dress appropriately and wear sturdy shoes as we will be both indoors and outside. Bring water and a bag lunch, as it will not be provided. If you have binoculars, feel free to bring them! A few pairs will be available to borrow. Light refreshments will be available in the morning.

Act 48 credit hours are available to educators holding Pennsylvania public school certifications.
