Basket Weaving Workshop
Limited to 8 participants
This round basket is build on a wooden base using dyed and natural rattan reed. There will be a choice of colors. There are two sizes- blue is medium height and red is small size. This is an advance beginner basket but all levels of weavers may participate! Students will learn to insert the stakes, twine the base, use start and stop weaving to create the sides, and top it off with a folded rim.
Students should bring a pencil, an old towel, and 12 clip clothespins. All tools and materials will be provided.
