Summer Camp Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary will honor requests for refunds submitted 14 days or more before the start date of the scheduled camp program. A $50 non-refundable deposit applies for each program and each child. There is no fee for switching to another available camp. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary staff may remove any child from summer camp for inappropriate behavior, in which case no refund will be issued. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary retains the right to change or cancel any programs as necessary. 

In the event that Hawk Mountain must cancel a summer camp program, tuition and deposits will be fully refunded. If it is in your means to so do, we hope you will consider donating your deposit to cover credit card and registration transactions fees, which are paid directly to third party companies. Refunding these fees is a direct loss for Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Donating your deposit will help Hawk Mountain Sanctuary to cover these costs, as well as to pay our administrative staff for their labor. All donations to Hawk Mountain are tax deductible.

Should the impacts of COVID-19 require your family to cancel summer camp programming less than 14 days prior to the program start date, you have the option to receive tuition credit, in which you may transfer the full balance of your current reservation for credit towards a future camp or other program(s).
