Tree Swallow

The tree swallow (Tachycineta bicolor) is a small and agile flier that can be seen in the spring through the fall in North America as it breeds. This species is highly social, and many will form flocks of thousands of birds near nesting sites. This past sunday, 20 were seen passing the Lookout.
