Red Fox

A Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) was spotted hanging around the meadow outside the trainee residence this evening. Red foxes are found throughout the United States in both rural and suburban areas, adapting to increasing human land development. They are omnivorous, hunting rodents; rabbits; and birds, but will also take advantage of available fruits; some plant-life; and may even forage through garbage.
