Red-eyed Vireo

It's nesting season here in PA, and nests of many avian species can be spotted in the leafed out forests and other landscapes. One of the many songbirds nesting on the Sanctuary is the red-eyed vireo (Vireo olivaceus). It is one of the most common breeding songbirds in the woodlands of eastern North America!
