Eastern Milk Snake

An eastern milk snake (Lampropeltis triangulum triangulum) was spotted at North Lookout basking among the boulders frequented by travelers of the skyline trail. Our harmless yet squamous neighbor can provide a nice snack to many of the native resident raptors we have frequenting the mountain.
