Bill Moses caught a great shot of the resident red-tailed hawk that's been entertaining visitors throughout the autumn season. Bill said it perched just 5 feet off the Lookout Trail.

A pileated woodpecker flew by the amphitheater during a "Raptors Up Close" program.  After the presentation, a large number of sharp-shinned hawks flew through.

A yellow phase timber rattlesnake was resting on the skyline trail. 

Two wild turkeys were on Hawk Mountain Road near the Hill House.
