Feeder Frenzy Volunteers Needed: Satuday, February 13  11:00 am - 3pm  This is our annual winter event that promotes backyard bird feeding and the Great Backyard Bird Count.  Volunteers needed for bookstore, hot chocolate & coffee station, feeder interpretation, kids crafts, greeter, gate and parking.  Please let MT know if you are able to help. grob@hawkmountain.org or 610-756-6961

Volunteer Snowshoe/Winter Hike: Saturday, February 27 1:00-4:00 PM           Meet at the Education Building.       Join Todd, Erin and MT for an afternoon outing off the beaten path.  Be prepared to snowshoe (depending on snow depth) approximately 3 miles.  Hot chocolate and camaraderie will follow at Schaumbach's Tavern.  Inclement weather will cancel the event. Volunteer Movie Night = February 27, 2016

Todd Bauman invites you to join us on the Mountain to view a wonderful film based on adventurous spirit and conservation. Volunteer Enrichment Day: Saturday, March 12  10:00am - 3:00pm at the Visitor Center.  Meet the Staff and learn what happens behind the scenes in each department, including ways volunteers can get involved in conservation science, minitoring, bookstore, visitor services, maintenance of land and facilities and communicating our messges with the public and our members.  Light lunch provided with time to mix and mingle.  RSVP to Tammy by March 8 at: 610-756-6961 xt.214 or jandrasitz@hawkmountain.org  Inclement weathr will cancel, but all who register will be called.

Spring Equinox Volunteers Needed: Saturday, March 19  11:00am - 3:00pm        This is our annual evnet to welcome the warmer weather and the perfect time to enjoy a family hike throught the forest.  Volunteers are needed for bookstore, hot chocolate & coffee station, feeder interpretation, kids crafts, greeter, gate and parking.  Please let MT know if you are able to help: 610-756-6961 or grob@hawkmountain.org

Education Volunteers Enrichment Day: Saturday, March 19   9:00am - 5:00pm at the Education Building.  Join Director of Education, Erin Brown and Education Specialist, Rachel Spagnola for the latest updates on HMS's avian educatord with special guest presenter and education volunteer, Craig Beck.  Ideal for seasoned, beginner or potential Raptor Care and Raptors Up Close volunteers.  Bring a lunch, wear sturdy shoes and dress inlayers for optional hike immediately after lunch.  RSVP by March 1 to: spagnola@hawkmountain.org  If you are unable to attend the first portion, feel free to join us for lunch and hike.

Visitor Center & Keeper of the Gate Training:  Sunday, April 3 1:00pm-4:00pm OR Saturday, April 16  9:00am - 12:00pm in the Visitor Center.                 Want to help provide a memorable experience to our visitors and members?  This informative session will prepare you for guest interactions in the Visitor Center and at the Trail Entrance Gate.  Light refreshments will be served.  There will also be a walk to South Lookout.  RSVP to Mary-Therese (MT): 610-756-6961 or                                 grob@hawkmountain.org      New and current volunteers welcome!!!!!!!
