Welcome new Visitor Center staff member Amber Warren

Another new face in the Visitor Center

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary has recently added Amber Warren, Bear Creek, to the Visitor Center Staff. She will be a part-time/seasonal staff member.

Amber will help a variety of visitor center tasks, such as advising visitors on trail selection, selling merchandise, and working with volunteers. After hiking the Sanctuary's trails, she is prepared to offer informed tips and suggestions for all visitors.

After reading about this job opening, Amber jumped at the unique opportunity. She has always had an interest in anthropology and natural history, so this seemed like the perfect position for her.

"I'm excited to work in an atmosphere surrounded by nature. This is a great environment in which to learn about things I couldn't learn elsewhere," Amber expressed.

Amber will continue to work with the Bookstore and Visitor Center staff as the Sanctuary enters the busy and exciting Autumn Hawk Watch in mid August.
