Open Your Senses to Nature with Yoga B Yoga

Starting Sunday, September 23, Orwigsburg-based studio Yoga B Yoga will offer several classes to connect participants with nature in the inspirational atmosphere of Hawk Mountain. Cost is $20 for each 60-minute class and includes a complimentary admission pass to the Sanctuary's hiking trails. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hawk Mountain's global conservation work.

The sessions will take place at the Sanctuary's Acopian Center for Conservation Learning, which is normally closed to the public and features a breathtaking view, looking up at the Kittatinny Ridge of the Blue Mountains. Participants of any skill level are invited to attend, and classes will begin at 9 a.m. Visit to register or for more information. Dates include:

Classes at the Acopian Center offer a temperature-controlled indoor space, ample parking, and restroom facilities. Participants are advised to bring their own yoga mat and arrive early. They are also encouraged to bring clothing and shoes for a hike afterwards.  

Throughout the day, the Sanctuary's mountaintop Visitor Center also offers free Weekend Programs with the trail pass, including the popular "Raptors Up Close!" live hawk or owl program. Programs are hosted by Hawk Mountain staff and international trainees and offer information about the autumn migration, raptor identification, and more. Visit for details.
