New Vulture Chronicles Post: Vulture Detectives Pt. 2

Adehl holds a successfully tagged turkey vulture.

In the most recent blog post on the Vulture Chronicles, former conservation science trainee Adehl Schwaderer offered a follow up about Hawk Mountain's new "groundtruthing" field work, where she and a fellow trainee tracked and observed local vultures and their roosting sites.

She discussed their successes and tribulations, attempting to trap and tag vultures after tracking them down.

Be sure to check out Part 1, written written by Adehl's research partner and fellow autumn conservation science trainee, Zoey Greenberg.
