B.S. Art Education. Joined Hawk Mountain in 2019.

Riley was a former Hawk Mountain Education Trainee and returned to the Mountain in 2020 as a full-time educator. Riley is a graduate from Kutztown University with a bachelor’s degree in art education, but her passion lies in environmental education. After graduating, she worked as a high school art educator teaching drawing, graphic design, and sculpture to grades 9-12, eventually coming to the Sanctuary to learn more about non-formal conservation education.  

At the Sanctuary, Riley will assist with on- and off-site educational programming, in addition to organizing materials and curriculum. She will also contribute to Raptor Care management and help train incoming education birds. In her free time, Riley enjoys spending time outdoors, coaching color guard, and playing with her cat Piper.
