Support Our Largest Annual FUNdraiser

Hawk Mountain will host its annual Benefit for the Birds gala on Friday, May 11 at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. This event is held annually and all proceeds directly benefit Hawk Mountain's conservation science and education efforts.

Beginning at 6 p.m., guests will enjoy an open bar and a delectable selection of hors d'oeuvres while mingling and perusing the silent auction items. This year, bidding will take place via guests' cell phones or with the help of staff equipped with connected devices. After dinner, the staff will present an exclusive premiere of a short video showcasing the Sanctuary's  International Conservation Science Training Program followed by a presentation by former Education Intern and Conservation Science Trainee Zoey Greenberg. The exciting Live Auction will then kick off.

A variety of unique items are available for the auctions and raffle, including hand-crafted art, locally-crafted gift baskets, experiences, memberships, gift-certificates, and more! Supporters who cannot make the event may participate in the silent auction through our online phone bidding service this year. That link and more information will be shared soon. Our live auction so far features several destination vacation opportunities and trips into the field with our world-renowned biologists to experience our research efforts first-hand.
