Photo Contest Winners Announced

An amazing selection of wildlife photos were submitted as part of Hawk Mountain's first annual Digital Photo Contest, making it tough on the judges, which included two Hawk Mountain volunteer photographers, representatives from Dan's Camera City in Allentown and Easton, a professional photographer and an art photographer who exhibits regularly.  Photos were judged on composition, lighting, subject, originality, and how the image tells a Hawk Mountain story.

All winning photos, second-place winners and honorable mentions will be displayed in a winter exhibit that will open sometime in late January. The 2015 contest will also reopen for submissions in January, this time with new categories for serious photographers, such as macro and special effects.
