New Vulture Chronicles Post: Vulture Detectives Pt. 1

In the most recent blog post on the Vulture Chronicles, former conservation science trainee Zoey Greenberg discusses Hawk Mountain's new "groundtruthing" field work, where she and a fellow trainee tracked and observed local vultures and their roosting sites.

While tagging and tracking data allow our biologists to know where the birds are, this observation technique allows them to get a better understanding of the vultures' behaviors.

Stay tuned for Part 2, written by Zoey's research partner and fellow autumn conservation science trainee, Adehl Schwaderer.
