New Vulture Chronicles Post: Finicky Feeders

In the most recent blog post on Hawk Mountain's The Vulture Chronicles, Dr. Keith Bildstein, Sarkis Acopian Director of Conservation Science, discusses the "finicky" feeding behavior of South African hooded vultures.

Dr. Bildstein and Hawk Mountain research associate Dr. Lindy Thompson spent several days earlier this month in northeastern South Africa to trap and tag hooded vultures, during which they observed the feeding behavior of these birds.
