David Bonenberger joins Sanctuary Board

The Board of Directors of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary has recently elected David Bonenberger to a four-year term.

Dave became involved with Hawk Mountain after attending the gala at a PPL table, and then returned for several years in a row. He now looks forward to being more involved in the Sanctuary's progression.

As the Vice President of Distribution Operations for PPL Electric Utilities, Dave oversees the planning, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance of PPL Electric Utilities’ distribution system to ensure safe and reliable service to customers.  Dave also is on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Minsi Trail Boy Scout Council, and he serves as the vice president of Urban Scouting.

Dave currently resides with his wife Francine in Tamaqua, PA. They enjoy the outdoors with their dog, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

His bio can now be found along with the full list of our Board of Directors at www.hawkmountain.org/board.
