Do you have a strong interest in raptors and birds?
Are you committed to a career in conservation?
If so, a Hawk Mountain Sanctuary internship offers an excellent hands-on training experience that strengthens your ability to contribute to conservation.
Each year, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary offers 12 to 16 competitive Conservation Science Internships to young raptor conservation biologists from around the world. Interns work closely in a mentor-student relationship with at least one Sanctuary scientist. They also work with other interns and Sanctuary scientists on one or more projects related to raptor migration science and raptor conservation. The internship involves hands-on experience in raptor research, monitoring and conservation education.
The Acopian Center for Conservation Learning at Hawk Mountain provides a model setting for work and study. A modest stipend and some travel assistance is typically available. To learn more about internship opportunities at Hawk Mountain, please visit our Raptor Conservation page. |
