Join Sanctuary volunteer Cheryl Faust as she presents an overview of her experience at two separate Audubon Camps on Hog Island Maine.  In 2016 she attended “Hands on Bird Science” and returned this year to attend “Raptor Rapture”.  The "Hands on Bird Science" program covered topics such as recording bird songs, preparing museum specimens, bird banding, tagging and telemetry. “Raptor Rapture” explored the raptor population around Muscongus Bay and included and up close experience banding Osprey chicks.  She will share her gained expertise with this presentation and talk.

Audubon offers these programs on Hog Island for teens, adults, and family groups. They run from June to mid-September and cover a variety of topics such as "Joy of Birding" and "Field Ornithology." During the talk, Cheryl will provide further information on the available programs.
