Rice's B.A.D. Farm

B.A.D. Farms is owned by Beth and Dave Rice and Sons and is a family run dairy that produces cheese, spreads, dips, soap and even chap stick made from milk cultures from their own cows. The farm uses its own milk to make aged raw milk cheese that is aged a minimum of 60 days along with fresh mozzarella, marinated mozzarella and a huge variety of cream cheese based dips/spreads.

Established in 1963, the WK&S is located in Kempton and known as the "Hawk Mountain Line" because its proximity to the world famous Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. The quiet, rural setting adds to a quaint old-time atmosphere that appeals to families and children of all ages. Kindred Spirits offers horseback riding, lessons and boarding, and their private wooded trails offer scenic vistas for your outdoor experience. The Kindred family practices mutually respectful treatment of animals and also offer Partnership Riding Lessons at their full care stables and outdoor rings, where they strive to bring horses and riders together in a natural way to form harmonious relationships.

The historic Kempton Hotel was built in 1874 and over the years has been used as a community meeting place and banquet hall. In 1957, George and Perma Wessner started serving family style home cooked meals and in 1972, Archie and Shirley Follweiler continued to serve food that received rave reviews. Archie and Shirley's daughter Jodi continues the tradition of family style meals in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Hotel restaurant and bar is open daily serving lunch and dinner as well as breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. The hotel is also known for its unique hand-painted murals, including one on the celiing of the bar and another on the celiing of the dining room.

Built in 1856, Stony Run Hotel is a quaint location to enjoy quality fare with family and friends. Consisting of mostly German and Austrian cuisine, the menu offers a few other choices as well, including crab cakes, burgers and pasta dishes. Dixon's is a unique shop featuring early American traditions, clothes and handcrafts as well as guns, parts, gun repair and instruction.
Dixon's Muzzloading Shop was founded by Chuck Dixon whose interest in muzzleloading started as a young boy, and progressed to shooting in the national matches. There, under the influence and direction of Mr. Webb Terry, Chuck began to take an active interest in shooting heavy bench rifles. In 1975 he shot a record group, a target which still hangs in his shop. He followed up with three more records in 1976.
For many years Chuck had been involved in the making and the repair of old guns as well as teaching his trade. He began a small retail sales shop of muzzle loading supplies in a vacated calf barn and over time he developed a productive full-time business. Today Dixon's is one of the largest stores in the country to service the needs of the muzzle loading enthusiast.

The Hawk Mountain Bed and Breakfast is a lodge that combines the finest European B&B tradition with American comfort. Built by the owners, Jim and Judy Gaffney in 1988, the Bed & Breakfast has eight units, each with private bath, full climate controls and views overlooking the Blue Mountain.The Commons Room, where guests gather for breakfast and relaxation, features a large native stone fireplace, library, music and complimentary beer on tap. Full country breakfast (included in room rate) is served fresh every morning.
The bed and breakfast also features in-ground pool, scenic views and secluded gardens and pond that attract wildlife and lend to the relaxing atmosphere.
